New energy and fitness resource announced
ARPH Press (Maine): State officials announced today the
discovery of a revolutionary new product that not only
addresses inflationary heating costs, but miraculously
provides dramatic fitness and weight loss potential.
Spokesmen revealed that “Sebastian” has been under secret
development for about two years. Highly portable at about
50 lbs., he provides a renewable power source guaranteed to
spontaneously warm the heart.
At his lowest setting, his thick, fluffy white/blue merle
coat and fuzzy bob tail enable him to cuddle and warm any
chair or couch occupant. Scientific staff “believe this
capability is largely enabled by the repetitive stroking of
his coat. Generated friction seems to encourage this
resting state.” For this reason, developers strongly
suspect Sebastian has great potential as a Therapy Dog.
In his highest gear, Sebastian plays with busy, puppy-like
energy, thus offering great weight loss and fitness
opportunities for the human operator in addition to further
warming benefits. Favored settings include “wrestle”,
“chase”, “tug” and “trot”. These settings are best applied
within the confines of a sizeable and secure fenced yard
since the audio detection feature of this model is not
enabled. Sebastian is fully deaf and his cute floppy ears
are purely ornamental. Vision is quite functional for day
to day needs, but modestly compromised. Ball and Frisbee
detection radar is operable over a wide range. Outside of
secured areas, leashed walks are a must to prevent envious
on-lookers from stealing him away as well as manage the
innate “seek and inspect” modes that can not detect
on-coming traffic or other potentially damaging situations.
Sebastian is readily programmable through a series of hand
signals. Factory settings currently include, but are not
limited to: sit, lay down, wait, come, toilet, and leave
it. Programmers continue to rapidly expand the capabilities
of this prototype through formal training.
Sebastian gets along well with other male and female canine
models in his series, but it should be known that his play
style may be considered rough by some. Cats trigger a chase
instinct that may be modifiable under careful dog-savvy
feline experimental conditions. Adult human males and
females are greeted with appropriate affection, but small
progeny would be overwhelmed by his wide turns and enhanced
bounce momentum.
To meet him is to love him. Please call or visit your
nearest Sebastian showroom now for an exclusive
demonstration of this unique, handsome and very smart boy’s
capabilities. Sebastian is housebroken, crate trained,
neutered and current on vaccines. For more details on Sebastian please
contact Catherine . More information on living with a

Winnie-the-Blue ARPH # 11370 (Vermont)
Winnie is extraordinary! She is a confident, strong,
playful, sweet, sensitive, smart and very adaptable. Winnie
has been through a great deal in the past year and is
looking for a forever home that is willing to love her as
much as her foster home does, and she looking for a home
that can offer her what her current foster home cannot – a
home where she is an only dog, and therefore has the
freedom to roam about, and has people that can focus
primarily on her to allow her to express her joy in being
alive!
Winnie is a large, spayed blue merle female. She thrives on
positive attention – she loves just about everything –
taking walks, going for runs, swimming in the river,
playing with toys, being groomed, laying at your side and
she especially loves cuddling…she is a master snuggler and
she is filled with joy and love! Winnie is currently living
with another Aussie and a cat, but she will do best as the
only dog in the home; dog savvy cats are fine by Winnie.
Winnie is blind… but mostly and firstly Winnie is an
Aussie. Because of this, although her challenges are many,
they are in fact few. The things that will challenge her
forever home are her barking, her strength on walks and her
need for a slow introduction to new people. Winnie's sense
of sound is strong and she can bark more than is reasonable
– so she needs a calm quiet environment and an owner that
is both patient and clear when enough is enough! Like most
Aussies Winnie can be protective and can be reactive to
changes in her environment so she needs an owner that is in
charge and will be clear with her about the rules. Winnie
needs a home that can give her consistent moderate
exercise.
Winnie has a tremendous amount of life energy and love. She
is a blessing beyond belief and she needs a forever home
that will dedicate time to her…and love her…and that
forever home will be lucky to share her joy in life!
If you think you are able to share your home with this
beautiful Aussie, and you have an approved application with
ARPH (including a home visit) please contact

Sadie originally came from GA where she
was abandoned by a family who moved on without her. Sadie’s
age is estimated at somewhere between 4 and 7 years. Due to
her matted fur Sadie was shaved down so her coat is now
gradually growing in. She was not very outgoing at first,
but gradually over one week got used to her foster mom’s
pack of Aussies and rat terriers. She is now active and
happy, but still very quiet and calm. She has had the run
of her foster mom’s house after the first week and has had
no accidents. She is leash trained although she is a little
stubborn. She likes to think about things while outside off
leash, but responds quite happily when she realizes you
really want her to come. She seems to enjoy her own space,
but will share willingly. When she first meets another dog,
she will give her little growl and act like the queen. She
has never exhibited any real forceful behavior; she just
likes everyone to know who is the boss. Upon meeting new
people she is very friendly. Her foster home has not had
her around small children or cats so we do not know how she
would react around them. She was given a dog bed to lounge
and sleep on, but Sadie prefers the floor of her foster
mom’s closet...on top of her shoes! Sadie is spayed and
fully vetted and ready for her forever home.
If you are interested in Sadie and you have an approved
application please contact Michelle.
Chloe is a delightful,spayed, 7 year old
Aussie that is remarkably smart and well trained. She knows
many tricks and is eager to show them off for a cookie! She
is a medium sized dog with a short, easy to care for coat
who tolerates nail clipping and grooming well. She is fully
vetted.
Chloe's favorite sport is swimming! She likes that more
than anything. She is also trained in agility. She plays
frisbee and ball like a champion, bringing them back every
time for you to throw again...and again...and again.
Chloe was well loved in her former home but she was not
happy sharing her family when the new baby arrived. They
thought it best for everyone, including Chloe, if she had a
new home where she would be the star attraction. She has
settled well into her foster home, is clean and respectful,
loving and eager to please.
Chloe is guarded with new dogs that she meets, her personal
space must be respected, but once she knows the dog she is
more than happy to accept the company.
Chloe is content with moderate exercise. She plays hard but
will also nap while you work on the computer or watch TV.
She walks well on a leash and is crate trained. She plays
with her toys and loves to chew bones. She has a fair
amount of prey drive and will keep your yard squirrel and
bird free. She has not been tested with cats but with her
high prey drive, either an an aussie savvy cat or a cat
free home would be best.
Chloe will do well placed with children over the age of 8.
She will be happy to be an only dog. A dog savvy owner will
make her feel more secure with meeting new friends.
If you would like to know more about Chloe, contact
Paula. Oh, and did I say she loves
swimming?
