Pistachio and
Tela (Western New York)
Pistachio and Tela are looking
for a new home together to spend their remaining years.
They are being given up due to the arrival of a child in
the home and the owner doesn't feel she has enough time for
them any longer.
Pistachio (DOB 7/4/97) is a 55 pound neutered male and Tela
(DOB 3/29/00) is a 55 pound spayed female Their owner
describes them as having a great temperament, very gentle
around the kids, protective of owner and family and gets
along with other dogs. She says their favorite things are
walking, running, constantly being with other people or
other aussie.
Both dogs are currently living with their owner in
Rochester, NY. If already approved please contact
Pat who is screening homes for
the owner.
Jazzmen (West
Virginia)
Jazzmen is a is a 4.5 yr old red merle
aussie girl who is looking for a new home. She*s a bit on
the chubby side (90 lbs), spayed and housebroken.
According to her owner she has a little repertoire of
tricks to show off: sit, speak, shake hands, give kiss and
play dead. She currently lives with another dog and is
looking for a home where she can be more active and get
more attention.
She is currently living with her owner in Falling Waters,

Dakota
(Virginia)
Dakota is a lovely 8-10yr old blue merle
lady. She is about 50lbs, spayed, and up to date on
vaccinations and flea/tick and Heartworm preventative.
Dakota was seized by court order from an animal hoarder.
Her living conditions were deplorable; confined in a crowed
basement without access to the outdoors for over 3 years!
This poor girl has been a mom her whole life, most likely
with back-to-back litters. Now it's her turn to be
someone's baby...
Dakota arrived at the shelter with fleas, parasites, ear
and bladder infections. She was rescued from the kill
shelter just a few days before her time was up. It took
hours of bathing, grooming, and trimming before you could
even tell that she was an Aussie!
Despite all that has hapened to her, Dakota has an amazing
personality. She is a typical Aussie-silly and happy! Don¢t
let her age fool you-she is quite energetic! She loves
everyone! She is good with dogs but is just as happy to
spend all her time with people! She has lived with other
dogs, cats, birds, and turtles for the past few months in
her foster home. She has not been around many children, and
while her disposition indicates she would do well with
kids, we would advise a home with older children.
Dakota's idea of a great day is a nice car ride or a long
walk!! She's just a settled lady looking for a loving
family to dote on her.
